Policies
Warehouse Responsibility & Liability Policy
Once a pickup is confirmed and your package is at our warehouse, South Blue Shipping & Logistics assumes full responsibility for the item. If any damage occurs at the warehouse, either to the packaging or the product, we will notify you, arrange for a replacement, and take full responsibility for the resolution.
However, once your item has been shipped, if you have opted to waive shipping insurance, we will no longer be responsible for any damage that occurs after dispatch.
Shipment Accuracy and Verification Policy
Before any cargo is dropped off for consolidation at our warehouse (or picked up), it is the shipper's sole responsibility to verify all shipment details, including addresses, contents, quantities, and weights. Once in our care, we rely on the accuracy provided by the shipper; we are not liable for errors in the shipment information. This ensures smooth consolidation and timely delivery.
Consolidation Policy
We offer 14 days of free storage for your consolidated cargo. After 14 days, storage fees will apply.
When shipping cargo (e.g., from Amazon), the shipment must be labeled with your name, but the address must be our consolidating warehouse address. It is the shipper's responsibility to ensure all cargo is correctly labeled.
Additionally, if the cargo requires extra protection such as wrapping, boxing, or sealing this will incur additional costs. For example, if a cargo box arrives damaged and must be replaced, any expenses will be passed on to the shipper. Please ensure all cargo is properly prepared to avoid additional fees.
Refund Policy
If you decide you no longer wish to ship your cargo, you may request a refund, provided the cargo has not yet left the warehouse. To do so, you must come to our warehouse to uplift the cargo yourself, or you may choose to pay for us to return it to you. Once the cargo is returned, we will process your refund, minus any applicable handling or return fees.
Please contact us within 24 hours of your decision to initiate the process.
Packaging Policy
When shipping cargo with South Blue Shipping & Logistics, every cargo must be fully secured. Each box must be sealed completely, maintaining its original dimensions no overpacking is permitted. If additional security is required, smaller cargo must be wrapped separately to ensure safety.
All televisions must be securely crated to prevent movement or damage. There is a charge of $100 across the board for crating every television, regardless of size.
Additionally, each cargo must be clearly labeled with both the sender's address and the receiver's (consignee's) information. These steps ensure that all shipments arrive intact, accurately, and securely. By following this policy, we provide the highest level of protection for your goods.
Payment Policy
All shipping charges with South Blue Shipping & Logistics, LLC are subject to the terms outlined below.
Customers are granted a 10-day grace period from the shipment date to complete payment. If payment is not received before the shipment arrives in Guyana, the outstanding balance will be subject to a 30% late payment surcharge or a minimum $30 late payment fee, whichever is greater. Cargo may be withheld until all outstanding balances and applicable fees have been paid.
We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, approved digital payment platforms, and MMG payments in Guyana. Customers paying in Guyana will be charged at an exchange rate of 220, plus a $10 processing fee.
For full container shipments, a 50% deposit is required to reserve and schedule the container. The remaining balance must be paid in full once the container has been fully loaded and is ready for shipment. Vehicle shipments inside containers are subject to an additional $300 vehicle processing fee.
Additional charges for services such as crating, special handling, oversized cargo, storage, or other requested services will be added to the final invoice.
There are no cancellation fees. However, if a pickup has already been completed and the customer decides not to proceed with the shipment, the customer will be responsible for any applicable return or redelivery charges. Customers may also choose to collect (uplift) their goods from our warehouse to avoid return delivery fees.
Once payment has been received and verified, a PDF payment receipt will be issued for your records.
If you have any questions regarding payments or billing, please contact South Blue Shipping & Logistics, LLC. Our team is happy to assist you.
Pickup Policy
When scheduling a cargo pickup, all cargo must be in its original dimensions and fully sealed prior to collection. Each cargo item must be clearly labeled with both the sender's and the receiver's information. Our team will verify the cargo upon arrival at our facility. If items are not properly sealed or labeled, we reserve the right to refuse the pickup and request that you properly prepare the cargo for delivery.
